Downloads
Install the npm package, browser binaries, or native desktop app from the Downloads page.
The Downloads page is in the secondary navigation at the bottom of the sidebar. It gives you everything you need to run tests on your own machine or integrate SmoothDeploy into a CI pipeline.
For first-time installation, see Set Up SmoothDeploy.
Node.js Requirement
The Playwright runner and the npm package require Node.js 22 or higher. Click Download Node.js on the page or visit nodejs.org if you do not have it installed.
NPM Package
The NPM Package section shows the command to install the SmoothDeploy-modified Playwright CLI globally. The command includes the exact version pinned to your organization's Playwright version:
npm install -g @smoothdeploy/playwright@<version>Copy it with the button next to it.
Browser Installation
Expand Browser Installation to see commands for installing Playwright browsers.

The --with-deps flag installs the system libraries each browser needs.
Native Desktop App
The Native Desktop App section detects your operating system and shows the right build for your device. Click the download button to download the installer.
Every available build is listed under All Download Options if you need a different platform.
Supported platforms: macOS (Apple Silicon and Intel), Windows (x86_64), Linux (x86_64).
