SmoothDeploy Documentation
No-code testing platform based on Playwright
SmoothDeploy is a testing platform built on Playwright. Create tests visually by recording interactions or building steps in the editor, or import existing Playwright spec files. Tests run remotely in the SmoothDeploy cloud or locally on your machine from the desktop app.

Core Concepts
Tests and Steps
A test is a sequence of steps. Each step is one action: navigate to a URL, click an element, fill a field, assert text, and so on. Tests can be created visually in the test editor, by recording a browser session in the desktop app, or by importing a Playwright spec file.
Projects and Branches
Tests belong to a project. Each project has one or more branches, which version the test content independently—similar to git branches.
Organizations
All resources (projects, tests, secrets, API keys) belong to an organization. Every member has one of three roles: Member, Admin, or Owner. See Roles and Permissions.
